Christmas 2016

Traditionally, Christmas is a joyful time of year, when even many non-Christians are prepared to acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ in some way. But it can also be a painful time of year for those whose loved ones have died; a normally happy time is marked by sadness, due to the absence of those who have departed. For those who belong to Christ, there is a promise that is worth remembering, about God and the new life to come: “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away” (Revelation 21:4).

Is it possible to wipe away pain and sorrow, no matter how deep they might be? If you are reading this and do not yet know about Christ, but are intrigued by this promise, find out more at Emmanuel Reformed Baptist Church.
